The National Radon Training Conference will run concurrently with the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (AARST) 2007 International Radon Symposium.  Registration for either meeting will allow you to attend the plenary sessions of both organizations.

HOTEL INFORMATION

The meeting is at the Tuscany Suites and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The Government (GSA) special room rate is $108.00 single/double, plus 9% sales tax per room per night. These rates are also available three days prior to and three days after the 17th National Radon Conference, based on availability.

A block of rooms has been reserved in the name of the "CRCPD" at the Tuscany Suites and Casino. You must call the hotel directly at 877/887-2261 to make a reservation. You must guarantee your reservation with either a credit card or one night’s deposit. If you need to cancel your reservation, you must call and cancel at least 24 hours prior to your arrival date or your deposit will be forfeited/credit card charged. NOTE: Guaranteed reservations are held for one night only – not for the entire stay. Cut-off date for making hotel reservations is August 12, 2008.

The hotel does not offer complimentary transportation to and from Las Vegas International Airport.  You may either take a shuttle or taxi.

Self-parking is complimentary. 

 TRAINING

There will be a training session Sunday morning from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 noon.  The agenda will be posted when it becomes available.  This session will offer information that will help you develop a quality program. You are encouraged to attend.
 

EXHIBITING INFORMATION:

State Radon Coordinators are encouraged to bring an exhibit, poster, or information regarding your program or activities you would like to share with the attendees. SOCIAL EVENTS:

There is no charge for you to attend the social events if you are registered for the entire National Radon Training Conference.  If you register for one or two days, your registration fee includes attendance to one of the social events.  You will need to select your preference on the registration form.  (Note:  Registration for “Monday Only” includes attendance to the reception and the luncheon.)  Your guest is welcome to attend the social events – the guest information section on the registration form needs to be completed and the appropriate guest fee(s) paid. 

Reception
Sunday, September 14, 2008.  (Guest fee:  $35.00)
There will be a joint reception Sunday evening with AARST from 6:30-8:30 P.M. in the exhibit area to allow you to visit with colleagues and industry. 

Luncheon

Monday, September 15, 2008. (Guest fee:  $35.00) 
Note:  Attendance to the luncheon is for attendees that are registered for the entire conference or registered for “Monday Only.”  Guests are required to pay the guest fee.


Night Out
Tuesday, September 16, 2008.  (Guest fee:  $65.00) 
The Night Out is a casual event that will be held at the Imperial Palace Hotel Car Collection.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If conference registration cancellation becomes necessary, CRCPD will refund the fee paid less a $25.00 administrative fee if CRCPD receives written notice of cancellation by September 5, 2008.  If CRCPD receives notice of cancellation after September 5, 2008, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.  CRCPD will be unable to issue guest fee refunds for the Reception, Luncheon, and Night Out after September 5, 2008.
