IAEA - The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) serves as the world's central intergovernmental forum for scientific and technical co-operation in the nuclear field. The IAEA is a specialized agency within the United Nations system.

Nuclear Technology Review 2004.  Published by the IAEA, this document is an excellent source of general information on uses of radiation and radioactive material around the world.

ICRP - The International Commission on Radiological Protection was established to advance for the public benefit the science of radiological protection, in particular by providing recommendations and guidance on all aspects of protection against ionizing radiation.

On ICRP's website is an Educational Area with downloadable ICRP material aimed at promoting knowledge about radiological protection.  Per their website in January 2005, initially they will focus primarily on radiation as used in medicine.  The material available includes several PowerPoint presentations.

INSC - International Nuclear Safety Center of Russian MINATOM (RINSC) was founded in accordance with a Joint Declaration on Establishing International Nuclear Safety Centers.

NSC- The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission is Canada's federal nuclear control agency, answerable to the Canadian Parliament.

RadWaste.org  - The primary purpose of this site to provide a reference source for radioactive waste management professionals.  The site contains links to international agencies and agencies within specific listed countries.
