BOARD POSITION

Relating to: Nasopharyngeal Applicators

• That the states should take appropriate measures to assure the discontinuance of the use of radium nasopharyngeal applicators.

   

• That the states should encourage those licensees/registrants still in possession of the devices to provide for their proper disposal; and

   

• That the states should inform affected licensees/registrants of the CRCPD radium disposal program.
