Richard J. Guimond

WHEREAS:

Richard J. Guimond has served his country in an exemplary manner as Director of the Office of Radiation Programs of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency; and

WHEREAS:

Mr. Guimond has provided strong support and encouragement in furthering the efforts of the Conference of Radiation Control Program Directors, Inc. (CRCPD), especially encouraging increased visibility of the organization; and

WHEREAS:

Mr. Guimond has provided national leadership in addressing significant public health problems associated with radiation exposure and radioactive contamination: and

WHEREAS:

Mr. Guimond has provided guidance and assistance to state and local radiation control programs in their efforts to protect the public from unnecessary exposure to radiation:

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Richard J. Guimond is hereby highly commended and greatly appreciated by the Executive Board of the CRCPD for his support and assistance to state and local radiation control programs.

IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED:

Because of his strong support, advice and assistance to the CRCPD, Richard J. Guimond is hereby accepted as an Honorary Member of the CRCPD, a recognition given only to individuals who have excelled, and brought honor to their profession.
