The Advisory Team for Environment, Food and Health (Advisory Team) is a radiological emergency response group tasked with providing protective action recommendations to state and local governments on behalf of its member agencies. The permanent membership includes representatives from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

 The Advisory Team’s mission is to provide coordinated advice and recommendations for the Federal, State, local, tribal and Territorial governments in radiation emergencies.
