This Part establishes radiation protection standards for Technologically Enhanced Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (TENORM). These standards include the possession, use, processing, manufacture, distribution, transfer, and disposal of TENORM and of products with TENORM. This Part also provides for the licensing of TENORM, including license termination. The provisions of this Part are in addition to the definitions and applicable requirements of Parts A, C, D, J, M, O and T of these regulations.
